GARDENER – Spin Doctor

Another Gardner innovation! The unique line twist remover that allows you to control and manage the build up of line twist that will always accumulate in your mainline whilst using your reel�s clutch and free-spool/baitrunner mechanism, or after spooling up for the first time.

Most anglers rely on their fishing reel�s clutch whilst playing fish � but most don�t realise each time that your reel spool turns 360 degrees, you are putting an additional single twist in your reel line. Now imagine how many times this happens whilst you�re playing a carp, or the twists that are putting into the reel line when you get a run and the fish tears off against it accompanied by a screaming buzzer.

Severe line twist will weaken the mainline, cause frap-ups and tangles during the cast and can make the line unmanageable whilst adjusting bite indicators and changing rigs, etc. During normal use a high proportion of the twist is pushed down towards the terminal tackle as you reel in and concentrated in the last few rod lengths of line, potentially damaging it and leaving it looking coiled and untidy and ultimately reducing its performance.

You can remove this twist, keeping your line in tip top condition for longer with one of our Spin Doctors.

Simply tie the Spin Doctor directly onto your mainline (without a swivel) when the line twist gets bad, cast out and reel in. The Spin Doctor is designed to rotate anti-clockwise during the retrieve, so it will remove the twists created by most fixed spool reels as you reel it back in.

Use the weight of the Spin Doctor most suited to the distance you are fishing.

The Spin Doctor works with any Monofilament line � copolymer or Fluorocarbon.

Note � If the twist is particularly bad start off with a � length cast and retrieve, then make a second cast at about � distance and retrieve again. Normally this will be sufficient and your line should now be free of twists and ready to re-tie to your rig.

Orders placed after 5pm on a Friday, on a weekend day (Saturday and Sunday) or a public holiday, will be processed and dispatched the following working day.

Local Delivery Offer

For all orders over �50, we offer free local delivery. These areas include postcodes:

SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4, SS5

Simply order your items before 4pm Monday-Friday

If for any reason you use this code and you are not within the postcodes mentioned above, your order may be cancelled, or you will be contacted to pay for the delivery costs associated.

Local Delivery will be conducted on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays. If you place your order on these days, we will aim to get your items delivered within 3 working days of the submitted order.

Returns

Any unwanted items can be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase for a refund, or exchange. Items returned must be unused, in their original packaging.

Any item received outside of this timeframe, except for fault or damaged goods, will result in no refund being awarded in full.

No returns will be processed, if a valid proof of purchase is not presented. Proof of purchase includes receipts, dispatch note, order form or confirmation.

Returns of items purchased in store

Your return will not be processed if you do not provide valid proof of purchase.
Items must be in their original packaging, unused to receive a refund, unless damaged or faulty.

Mark�s Tackle reserve the right to not offer a refund on any items if they have been tampered with.

We cannot accept returns from online orders.

Returning items purchased online

  • Fill out the returns form enclosed with your order and include the reasoning for the return.
  • If you are returning the items via post, please ensure proof of postage is obtained.
  • Cost for returning the item is at the purchasers� expense.

Please note, we do not offer returns postage cost refunds on any unwanted item returns.

Once the item has been received and inspected, a refund (if requested) will be processed within 15 working days from the date the item has been received.

Incorrect or Damaged items
If your item is incorrect, please notify us immediately quoting your order reference number. Incorrect orders will need to be returned, prior to your correct item being shipped.

Any damaged items can be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase for a refund, or exchange. Items returned must be unused, in their original packaging.

  • Fill out the returns form enclosed with your order and include the reasoning for the return.
  • If you are returning the items via post, please ensure proof of postage is obtained.
  • The cost of returning this item will be applied as store credit to offset any future purchases.
  • These items will only be refunded, or exchanged if they are sent back us unopened, and unused in their original packaging.

Mark�s Tackle does not accept any liability for goods damaged in transit.

Promotional Returns

If a return is made on a promotional order (e.g. a multi buy promotional offer) to calculate the refund due we shall reapply the promotion offer to non-returned items and the refund shall be the value of the returned items less any promotional discount to which your revised order is no longer eligible. In the case of gift with purchase promotions if the return does not include the complimentary gift and the monetary remainder of the order fails to reach the amount required to qualify for the promotion, the price of the complimentary gift with purchase will be deducted from the item(s) returned.

Ordering via a courier

If your item is sent via a courier, please ensure you are in at the time of delivery to avoid further fees being applied for non-delivery.

Warranty
Certain items purchased online or instore come with a manufacturer�s warranty. If your items develop a fault, within the 12-month warranty period, you may be able to return your item and receive a replacement, or repair. This does not generally cover wear and tear of your item.

Mark�s Tackle will return the item to the manufacturer before offering an exchange or a refund, where necessary. If the fault is deemed not to be of the product, Mark�s Tackle reserve the right to not offer an exchange or a refund.
